Christian Rock OBSESSION |
A blog featuring album reviews, news updates, and a whole lot more about today's popular Christian rock and pop artists. |
My sincerest apologies for leaving all of you hanging like that. It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything at all. Will you please forgive me? No? Um… well. This is awkward. Here’s an update.

To start, unfortunately, there is some bad news. At least, for those of us who actually like good music. Secret & Whisper made an announcement on their Facebook earlier this week that they are officially “taking a break.” You can link up to the post here and read the whole thing for yourself.

On to something a little happier, Family Force 5 has recently been showing a lot of online activity. After holding a week-long poll on Twitter to decide their new album cover, they have released a video of a new song to be featured on it. It’s called “Get On Outta Here.” Pretty crazy. Keep your eyes peeled for the new album, III, which is out on October 18, 2011.

Switchfoot has also been making a fuss about their new album… and from the sounds of it, Vice Verses will be worth it. Follow this link to watch an inspiring little video the band made of their first time listening to the album. And when you’re done with that, make sure to click “Continue To Site” up in the right-hand corner. There you’ll find the full song “Dark Horses” from Vice Versus. And it’s good.

Does anybody remember And Then There Were None? They had a fantastic debut, but since then we haven’t heard anything from them. Well, apparently they are no more. In its place is Young London, consisting of Matt and Sarah (formerly of ATTWN) on a new record label and a new sound. In my opinion, it is no where as near as good as ATTWN was, but I thought some of you might want to check it out. Their first single, “Let Me Go,” can be heard here.

That’s all for now. If you try not to hate me, I promise I’ll try to post more often!
