Here are just a few quick updates. Enjoy!

Children 18:3 announced recently on their Twitter that record number three is in the works as of this winter. The band goes into the studio this December to record. I am beyond excited for this.

New to Tooth & Nail, Blessed By A Broken Heart is releasing a song for free from their upcoming debut, Feel The Power. The song is called “Deathwish,” and it sounds like a mix of hardcore music and classic rock (?). You’re going to have to see for yourself.

Speaking of free music, Wavorly is also giving away a free track. It’s from their new EP (set to release 11-11-11), and you can download it here. Just click on the triangles when you arrive on the page, and your download will begin immediately.

As with every year, August Burns Red is releasing yet another Christmas single for the holiday season. They have made a very limited number of vinyl copies of their new Christmas track, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” available for purchase, which you can buy here. The song will be out on November 15th, so keep a look out for it! Love the artwork!

That’s all for now! Check back soon everybody!
August Burns Red- “Internal Cannon”
It’s finally that time of year. Welcome to the magical land of summer, where free time abounds and I can finally blog regularly. My apologies for not remembering you for the past few weeks, but with finals and all I think it was necessary. That aside…

Owl City’s newest album releases today, which you can pick up anywhere and everywhere. Also, iTunes is offering a free download of the track, “Deer In The Headlights,” which is definitely worth your time. Let me just say… this album is not Ocean Eyes. It’s going to take some getting used to, at least for me. Be on the lookout for a review soon. And this time I mean it.

August Burns Red has been taking the internet by storm with their newest songs, one of which can be streamed over at Alt Press. It’s called “Poor Millionaire,” and it is crazy. The new album will be releasing next week on June 21. It’s going to be awesome, trust me.

RED has released a new music video for their song “Feed The Machine”… and it’s something of an epic. It’s around seven minutes, and has something of a Terminator vibe to it. I don’t want to spoil the whole thing, so hurry up and see it for yourself. I guarantee it’ll be better than that “Ordinary World” video. Really.

Lastly, The Devil Wears Prada premiered the first single off their newest album on Alt Press the other day. It’s called “Born To Lose.” The name alone sends shivers down your spine, yeah? Go give it a listen, and remind yourself to get excited for that September 13 release. It’ll come sooner than we think.
August Burns Red is currently preparing to release a video for their new song “Internal Cannon.” Look for it to be online soon.
First off, August Burns Red announced today that their new album is officially pre-orderable. The picture included here is only a part of the MEGA DELUXE SURVIVAL KIT BUNDLE… and I’m finding it terribly mouth-watering. It also comes with a t-shirt, the album, and ABR trading cards. You can drool over that as well as several lesser pre-order options by clicking here. Their new album, Leveler, releases near the end of June, so you have some time to make up your mind. You can also hear the first track off the album, “Empires,” by clicking here. Interesting, but quite good. Looking forward to this one!

There isn’t much info on this yet, but just as a heads up… TFK is giving you the opportunity to have your picture in the new Fan Edition of Welcome To The Masquerade. If you own one of those cool TFK “flame” masks (available with the live album pre-order and at live shows), you will be able to take a picture of yourself wearing it and upload to the internet. Then they’ll pick a bunch to put into the Fan Edition booklet! Apparently this Fan Edition will be releasing this fall and will feature three new songs. More to come on that.

For those who downloaded Stephen Keech’s solo track, you might have received an email from him today thanking you. Also in the email he announced that he will be releasing an EP in the near future. I don’t know about you, but I’m pumped to hear some more from this guy. ”Black Coffee” is just so good.

New Swimming With Dolphins releases tomorrow! Who’s waking up early to download it before school? This guy is!!!
Thousand Foot Krutch will be releasing a live CD/DVD on June 7th called Live At The Masquerade. You can look at your options for pre-ordering it by clicking here. Underoath released their video for “Paper Lung” a few weeks back, which is definitely worth checking out. I know it’s been out for a while now, but it’s been a while since I’ve done an update, so better late than never, right? Anyway, it’s very well done and worth your time completely. Check it out here.

Last Friday, Owl City released the music video for “Alligator Sky.” I know almost half of it is a hip-hop track and all, but it’s Owl City. As much as I don’t like that genre, it’s still a fantastic music video. Watch the rockets come to life here.

Remember, Swimming With Dolphins will be releasing their T&N debut this Tuesday. I’ll be posting a review as soon as I get a chance to fully digest it. Until then, you can check out the new layout for the blog (for those of you viewing this on your Tumblr dash). Thanks for reading, and remember… brush your teeth. Haha!
August Burns Red- Leveler
June 21.
New ABR coming this summer. If those words don’t get you pumped, nothing will.
I found this the other day on Absolutepunk.net:
Genre giants AUGUST BURNS RED are poised to release one of the most anxiously awaited metal albums of 2011 - a colossal effort entitled Leveler - available in stores and online June 21st.
For Leveler, AUGUST BURNS RED re-teamed with super producer Jason Suecof, the man behind the board on their 2009 breakout, Constellations. The result is an album that pushes the band’s sonic boundaries in every direction, and yet is an unquestionably heavier album than its predecessor.
“Putting out a fourth record is a little scary because we obviously have our sound figured out at this point, but we don’t want to put out a record that just sounds like a redux of our previous albums,” explains guitarist JB Brubaker. “Our tastes are always evolving as musicians and we’ve been motivated to progress as a band and push ABR in different directions, while maintaining the characteristics that made us the band we are in the first place.”
AUGUST BURNS RED will take to the road as a mainstage act on this summer’s Van’s Warped Tour, which will deliver them to almost every major market in North America to bring Leveler’s sonic spectacle directly to fans.
Leveler, the band’s fourth studio album, is the follow up to ABR’s breakout hit Constellations, which made waves when it landed at #24 on the Billboard Top 200. The lauded third album – whose sales have soared past 90,000 – established in no uncertain terms that AUGUST BURNS RED was a leader of its genre, a band that quietly outsold, outdrew and garnered more praise than peers who’d been gracing magazine covers for years. It’s not so quiet anymore. The fans and critics have spoken – loudly.
So pumped for this! Constellations was brilliant, in my opinion… hoping this one will be just as good, if not better! Can’t. Wait.
